perlite - what instead - and sth.

hi
first i can't get perlite or vermiculite and i wanna know if i could use seramis instead - it's for normal plants (inside) and i think its quite small. the attributes are about the same (airy gives water time after time) - if i can use it(name is just brand) should i pour hot water over it - to get it as sterile as possible .

and the other incredience i read to making own cake is brown rice flour - should i only use (big) rice - the flour or both together - should i cook the rice or keep it raw

when i have mixed incredience what do i have to do then - heat it? before spore injecting or after

help would be great - please

Dude, you should use VERMICULITE>.. hahaha i just got back from zamzows where i just picked up my own little bag for my experiments.

Read this tek and follow it to the letter. If you can't find the ingredients needed, order them online from one of the sponsors of this board.

Especially when you're a newbie (and I suspect that's the case), your best chance on success is the PF Tek.
