I would never sell my xbox for that... What am I gonna do when I am high or bored and its fucking raining like a bitch (which it does a lot here). Netflix, youtube, music, video games, networking with friends, and all sorts of tom foolery.... i like my xbox

Not necessarily. Xboxes are well-functioning pieces of machinery if you actually bother taking care of it. I had one of the original xbox 360s and it never malfunctioned or anything til Battlefield 3 pushed it too hard last November. Bought a Slim after trading in the old one and haven't had any issues with that either.

Can't deny that. I just don't have the money lying around to build myself a decent computer...yet anyway.

That's not much of an excuse anymore, used to be.. but for the price of a modern gaming console + accessories, and maybe a little more...
you could build a mid-level budget gaming PC that will blow the console away in 200 categories
Unless you have some specific console-only game you want to play, I don't really see a reason for them.
Although I come from the old school, Atari, Nintendo, SNES, Genesis, N64 is what I grew up on. They just don't make them like they used to.
PC can play all those old school games on emulators.

Although whatever floats your boat. Consoles have their place, I suppose.
But my personal opinion, Wii sucks my balls pretty much, and I haven't found any game I want to play on XBOX or PS(X) that I can't play on the PC with better graphics, controls and speed.

Perhaps decent wasn't the right word to use. 'Future-proof' would probably be better suited. If I'm gonna build something I want something that would be able to run games made 3 years from now with no serious issues. Given that I don't have a job anymore...well its not going to happen for the time being. Its another thing to put on the list if the job interview I've got Friday goes over well...if I can resist the urge to blow my first couple of paycheck on a metric fuckton of droogz anyway.
