Greek elections
    #16394077 -

So today is the big day, Greeks have to decide whether they want more austerity or whether to break free from the Troika. What do you think about Syriza, New Democracy and the crisis in general? Here's my take;

The bankers need to stopped. They are the ones who did this to Europe by attacking the South European bond markets with Credit Default Swaps, a toxic rancid financial derivative that is peddled by the criminal parasites in Wall Street and the City of London. They did this in an attempt to shift the choas of the global depression they created onto Europe and protect their financial empire for a while. They decided the Greek bond market was a particularly weak link in Europes armour and stabbed at it with their CDS's.

Greece needs to declare a debt moratorium on their onerous debt and reject austerity in favour of an economic recovery program. If the Eurocrats don't like this and try to kick Greece out of the Euro then Greece should tell them that their banker puppeteers will never get a penny of that money back so Merkel and her friends will have to suffer the indignity of bailing out the zombie bankers AGAIN.

If the Eurocrats come to their senses and start thinking about economic recovery instead of propping up banks then there is an easy way to get Europe growing again. Get the European Central Bank to start issuing successive one trillion Euro tranches of credit for infrastructure projects and productive businesses. Not for zombie bankers to speculate with as is happening with Quantitative Easing where the bankers use credit from central banks to drive up the price of commodities and- coming full circle- Greek borrowing costs.

Keep issuing these tranches periodically, every six months maybe, until unemployment is down to 1%. It really is that easy. We just need to wrestle the control of our central banks from the parasitical financier oligarchy.

The Greeks lived off the banks' tit without doing any work for decades.  Let them live without the banks' tit.  I don't give a fuck.  It might make it cheaper for me to go to Greece because they will be falling all over themselves to woo me.  "I'd like you to spend a little more time licking my left testicle now.  The right one has grown bored with your ministrations."

Greeks need to start working and stop consuming.  That is the root of the problem, they consume more than they produce.  This is a problem that the first world is rife with, Greece is especially bad.

So, your solution to big banks and more debt is to make even more debt a regular thing?  What exactly does printing fake money have to do with productive businesses?  Exactly nothing.  It feeds the problem even more.  It really isn't that easy to get out of debt that's why there are way more debtors than creditors.  In this case the banks will have their outs and the debts fall onto the shoulders of someone productive.  That should be easy to understand.

If you have a fertile patch of land and want to start farming to create a product (food) then what would you do? You would need money (credit) to buy the tools to farm that land productively, like tractors, fertilizer and barns. Without that credit the land would go to waste, this is how the whole economy works. Debt is money in our current system and money makes the economy function. The problem we have nowadays is that there is too much national debt and too much inter bank debt whereas banks won't provide credit for productive enterprise. So the national central banks that are currently giving endless credit to bankers for the purposes of speculation should become creditors for PRODUCTIVE enterprise instead.

By the way Syriza have lost the elections so the Greeks will have to put up with the misery being imposed upon them, I feel awful for the Syriza voters, but those New Democracy voters deserve every bit of depredation they are soon to recieve, stupid fuckers. More austerity is coming their way and if they think that will save them they are sadly mistaken, the breakdown of Greek society is only a few years away if they carry on down the "austerity" route. :wtf: Sorry, but the Greeks were the ones who elected a government that handled it's finances horribly, and it's quite interesting that you act like it's being "imposed upon them", considering that they just elected a party specifically with the awareness that the elected party would adhere to the bailout program.

The interesting thing in all of this is that you blame the banks for the problems there, instead of the government. Apparently you think the banks have some kind of mystical power to make people get involved with bad investments? I think one would have to be living underneath a rock to miss the fact that the whole problem results from highly irresponsible public spending, not to mention a lot of people who didn't feel like paying taxes.

Oh, you bet, it really is that easy, to, you know, hand out trillions and trillions of dollars to productive businesses across a continent. Because it's so easy to determine what constitutes a productive business, and it's so easy to so directly intervene in the economy and know that you aren't simply creating some kind of hyper-inflated bubble by modifying the economy to such a degree, potentially just making things much worse.
If only it weren't for those all-powerful bankers, we could just snap our fingers and have 1% unemployment across an entire continent!

To be fair, the banks did set up a monetary ponzi scheme that was designed to fail in the long run anyways...

the government is at fault for accepting it and abusing it yeah, but the banks knew it was a deal with the devil from the get go.

Fuck the Greeks, they haven't contributed anything to culture in a long time so as far as I'm concerned they're expendable. :haha:

Expend to where?  Or what?  Let them pay their own way, something they haven't done for decades (at least).  And why should anybody give a fuck about what somebody contributes to culture?  Who gives a shit?  What does that even mean, "contribute to culture"?  The only thing the shithole has been good for for centuries is awesome scenery.

The early greeks contributed to the concept of women's equality if I'm not mistaken.  I consider that a valuable contribution especially in light of cultures like the middle east.  But like you said that was long ago and they haven't done anything for me lately.  Let em eat cake. :haha:

Isn't Lesbos a Greek Island and didn't they have to cut off sex to get what they wanted?  Doesn't exactly seem like a seat at the table to me.

better link me to the facts on that one.

But I did a little search  and found that women did not have many rights in ancient greece so I got bad info  it seems.

Well another good reason not to give a fuck about the geeks..., er I mean greeks.

Thats a very simplistic view.

what about when liberals borrow huge national debts and dumps it on you with high taxes?

what about when loans have interest attached that is physically impossible to pay on the macro scale, creating a deflationary vortex that holds the entire economy hostage unless we take out more and more, larger and larger loans?

youre saying that ponzi schemes are okay, and the ones who unwittimgly joined or were born into it are to blame, not the ones who initiated the fraud.

no one ever asked me if i wanted to join this pyramid scheme of a monetary system anyway, and youre saying its my fault?

no, the banks knew exactly what they were doing, they knew the federal reserve was a ponzi scheme, and they knew they could hold congress hostage with threat of cascading deflation.

its not just as simple as "durr dont take out loans you cant pay"

its a ponzi game of musical chairs.

The burden changes from debtor to creditor( banker)when the chance of default exists. Yet, the bankers will make the citizens pay for their sins.

Whether through taxes or currency devaluation, the citizens take the hit. This is not capitalism at work, this is plain theft.

  That would be predatory borrowing
