I've been leaving my door open lately when I go to sleep and invariably when I wake up in the middle of night I find my cat curled up next to me. I'm half-afraid I'll roll over while unconscious and squish him, but he's so warm and fuzzy in these winter days. :lol: 

Edit: Dammit, I couldn't find the smiley where a little guy's petting his cat and it's purring.  Anyone know which one I'm talking about?  All I could find was this (lol): :shakecat:

Their brain does that when it spots movement that might be prey. It lets in more light and narrows the depth of field so they can zero in on the potential food.

Evolution is some amazing shit.

Yeah, I don't let animals into the bathroom space with me ever. That is a big taboo in my books.
Kiwi does headbut the shit out of me on some nights when I am sleeping for attention though. I deal.


Really?  I don't like my animals in the bathroom if I poop, but I love it when my kitty rubs on my leg while I pee.  Is that weird?  But most of my friends hang out in the bathroom when I pee too, so it's not too different.
