I dunno man. Its weird.

Like they are gonna cut me too piece not a year after I die, not a month, but like 2 minutes after. No chance at resurrection whatsoever.

Will I have the time to properly die? (whatever the fuck I might mean by that)

They make any reasonable attempt to revive you and if it doesn't work, you are dead. Then they start harvesting organs. It's not like they don't make an attempt to save your life, it's just that right after you are pronounced dead, they have to work quick to get the organs out while they're still viable.

Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.

No thanks I'd rather not be cut open and harvested.

Thats the ideal.  I dont want reasonable attempts, I want extreme attempts.  Maybe they will go to extreme attempts if they think my organs are just going to rot anyway.

I dont believe that issue is big enough to worry about though, I would support default donation.

My baby cousin, six months old, died due to complications during surgery and blatant malpractice by an anesthesiologist.  The pain my aunt and uncle must have endured, I can't even imagine.  When they were told he was brain dead, they had a decision to make.  They made the decision to donate life.

My cousin's heart saved a little girl born with congenital heart defect(s), his lungs went to a baby boy born to a drug addicted mother, his corneas gave sight to a toddler who suffered a bacterial infection as a baby.  I'm sure there was more donated, but those three I know for sure.

Do you really need to decompose with your organs, when one of those organs could completely change others' lives?  How selfish.

I think people should have the right to choose not to donate. There are still a lot of superstitious people around who are extremely uncomfortable about the thought of people cutting up their carcasses after they die. They shouldn't be forced to donate, I guess. Default donation makes sense though.

what if your soul is contained within one of those organs and if transplanted you don't go to where your supposed to go.  Im not sayin heaven or hell, there's 100's of possibilitys besides the old "nothing" which is just one possibility which brings its probability to a low percentage.  So do u really want to risk the afterlife w/e that may be.  Then what if the person who gets your oragans is a donor to, your parts could get dumped onto lots and lots of people, 400 years from now someone could still be using your penis to fuck hookers :doggystyle:

Yeah, once you're dead you won't care, but the fact that you don't care while alive is the disgusting part.

I lost faith in humanity long ago. While I'm alive...I'll give to those that need it. But I ain't giving away my body parts. Just because you think it's your moral obligation to do so, doesn't mean it's mine. So again, take your holier than thou attitude and fuck off.

Because you for some reason consider them "yours". I'm not saying anyone else owns them, of course not, but after you're dead they're not your body parts either. Dead bodies can't own things.

actually they are still yours arn't they? Otherwise we wouldn't be having this conversation, we have to give permission to take them.  Those egypt fellows didn't they keep their organs in urns/jars too?  They seemed pretty smart for their time, when i die i want to be buried like them, instead of a headstone im going to have a miniture pyrimid and my tomb filled with gold

Absolutely. I find it extremely selfish to not be an organ donor. You don't need those organs so one plans on being a dick to the grave? yeah fuck that.

There are known cases were the potential donor was responsive to some of the tests they employ, even reacting to the cut of the scalpel, yet the carried out the operation anyways. Thats why Im not a donor.

Sounds like a good movie.

I think it's horrible to keep organs. Consider the fact that being brain dead might as well be the same thing. People respond when they are brain dead, would you prefer to be in a vegetative state with your lungs or on a respirator? I'd rather be dead and give them to someone who has a chance at life.

If we start taking every organ out of the dead bodies, how are the worms gonna feed themselves?

Won't anybody think of the worms?!?!
