Silly organ donors, some doctor is going to let your poor ass die so they can sell your organs to the rich.

there's 2 many people on earth as it is, people need to die.  That being sad if i needed a transplant of course i would want to live thats just in a persons nature to survive.  Also i find it a bit stupid that they exclude certain people from getting transplants like alcoholics or w/e the case may be.  Your either here to help people or your not, as long as that alcoholic is enjoying his life then who's anyone to denie him the right to continue doing so.  Yet as long as its useable im sure they have no problem taking organs from an alcoholic.  Then there's things like cancer u can get that from to much sun not the best example but im sure there's plenty of others, with the point being they to my knowledge aren't excluded.  Oh and aren't most transplants super expensive, could be a good portion of the reason for rising healthcare costs, bet if u got rid of them that could potentially fix that, with a net result a better/healthier economy

Do you really think that's what happens?

It should definitely be an opt-out system instead of an opt-in.  The people who don't care are not going to opt-in, but the people who do care would opt-out if necessary.

Umm when you become a care Physician, it kinda is..

Edit: Ok, in America apparently it's not required. That's pretty fucked up.

Larry Niven wrote a series of stories that played on this idea.
Read "the Gift from Earth" or some of his related works.

Since im not in that position I cant say anything .
But from what I heard if you have organ donor on you I.D , if you not important they will let you die in the hospital and use your organs anyway .
Since I've heard that I told the DMV to take organ donor off my license and I.D ( because I have a DUI and Gotta wait 1 more month to get my license back )

That is not at all true. Google "organ donor myths." There is so much misinformation that can be eliminated by a simple google search.

That's just what iv'e heard .
If that's true or not ,  im not takeing any chances though  :ifyoucanawe:

I have heard that mushrooms make you trip because they make your brain bleed. Best not take any chances, right?

plus, when you're an organ donor and somebody needs an organ, they might just let you die on the table to use yours

actually you're more likely to be a victim of an organ harvest assault, if
someone important like Obama, Paris Hilton or Homer Simpson needs a liver
then they'll send a black van around to snatch you off the street, take what
they need and then claim you died of a heart attack on the street

OMG you know of the plot?

We've been doing this in random neighborhoods around the county. It's amazing how well fentanyl nocks people out. And only 2 deaths. That's a 99.998% success rate

Absolutely. I find it extremely selfish to not be an organ donor. You don't need those organs so one plans on being a dick to the grave? yeah fuck that.

I dunno man. Its weird.

Like they are gonna cut me too piece not a year after I die, not a month, but like 2 minutes after. No chance at resurrection whatsoever.

Will I have the time to properly die? (whatever the fuck I might mean by that)

There are known cases were the potential donor was responsive to some of the tests they employ, even reacting to the cut of the scalpel, yet the carried out the operation anyways. Thats why Im not a donor.
