anyone ever hear of mickey hart's band?

apparently he's playing a show in town
worth seeing for $30 at ticket?

I saw MHB last year. They put on a good show but due to the person running the soundboard, Micky almost walked off. He looked really pissed off.

i saw dark star orchestra

and hated them

so i'm nervous about going to this for $65 (2 tix)

me and my girl hated them

from what i've heard they only good 1/2 the time. i've heard this from like 10 people no joke.

fuck me.. if I buy tickets to both mickey & social D... I already have tommy emmanuel tickets. $300 in tickets for the month of may lol

Well, i suppose each has their own opinion.... but i've seen them ~20 times and have never been disappointed.

maybe the song choice just sucked

was a bunch of soft songs i've never heard of

Definitely go see Mickey, but don't expect it to sound like 60s dead.

for me, DSO isn't the same without John k. but they're still good. I'm going to see them in a few weeks.

I listened to his new albuum, only song I liked was the first.

Go see Mickey.

I've seen Mickey Hart Band, Furthur, and DSO a few times.

While Furthur is my favorite I think I would choose Mickey Hart's Band over Dark Star Orchestra anyday.

I saw them last fall in St. Louis. They put on a great show. It was fenomenal. All of the members of the band are incredibly talented. The black girl they have up there singing. Shes so perfect, with a voice like an angel.

I broke down and cried when they played brokedown palace (no pun intended).

Such a fun band. SO MUCH ENERGY!!

I guarantee you will NOT regret it if you go. It's absolutely great music. And Mickey is a real class act. Plus, idk where you're seeing them, but I was able to see them in a venue that couldn't have had more than a couple hundred people. Absolutely fantastic time. You don't want to miss this band!
