is a mix of philosophy and mythology. some religions are mostly all mythology, with little philosophical substance. some are almost more accurately described as philosophy, but a small measure of mythology makes them a 'religion'.

what happens when you take a certain philosophical view and add a touch of mythology?

it's a religion.

a bunch of mythological tales plus a little philosophy in it?

same thing.
