Hi guys. I went for a hunt in Southern VIC today and among many species I found quite a few of what I presume are Muscaria.

Can somebody please confirm?

As far as Im aware these are active but after reading a little about them I think I'll pass. Unfortunately there were no subs about. I guess its still too early. :sad:

Send them to me. I love them. Read up on experienced trip reports. And preparation techniques. Some love, most hate. Introducing yourself to a new thing is usually that way. First impressions are important.

I ate some once, just a couple tablespoons that had been cooked down in butter and olive oil. No nausea, but no high. I did take a nap, but hell, I take naps. I'm old for crying out loud, trust me, I need my beauty sleep.

The overwhelming description for these is that it is more like being drunk than being in a state of entheogenic, psychedelic altered consciousness.

I also recently heard a lecturer say they were quite delicious when he was served some by David Arora without prior knowledge of their identity.

Mine tasted ok - but I think I added to much salt. They are really common where I live. I think I found one of the last of the spring flush this week before the weekend heat melts them all.
