A lot of states have put caps on the maximum number of PP's allowed in the state. I believe it was the state of Kentucky but I can't remember off the top of my head, that only allowed 3 PP's in their entire state. Kentucky's a pretty big state to drive over if you're on the other side of the state.

now just because it's not required of the insurance companies by the 22
other states doesnt mean insurance companies arent paying for it anyway,
something that was already covered

I've changed insurance 3 times in my life. None of my insurance companies have ever, ever paid for my birth control.

Quote:
the problem is that there's no one around to force the to get birth control
and then no one around to make sure they take it, obviously it's not a
necessity since so many people arent on it, in fact about 20% of women of
reproductive age are using some form of contraceptive even though hormonal
birth control pills are available for little or no charge through the
county health department all over the nation leaving 80% of women in that
age group simply not giving enough of a shit, planning to have a kid, not
having sex or using the "that couldnt possibly happen to me" method of
birth control, something easily obtained through the health department for
little to no cost

Um, at least 40% of women are over 40 years old, thus have been through menopause. Plus, birth control is not suggested to women over age 35. It's only for women between teen ages and 35. And then even among women who fall within that range, they are probably married and want to get pregnant. Hence the low percentage. I'd say quite a lot of women are using birth control given those numbers.

everyone in sweden is militia, something the leftards dont want in the US
and you'd think that if they were not spending the 60% tax that they take
from their citizens on the military then they'd wouldnt need to be taxig
people at a rate of 60% and being home to a large ad growing white
supremacy movement in addition to being crowned the racsim capital of
europe, I can see why you believe it to be a utopia

For starters, military is not bad in Sweden. They don't focus on fighting wars, they focus on getting rid of mimes in locations where they have been implanted.

And Sweden does NOT have a huge white supremacy movement; as a matter of fact, they are incredibly liberal. The only topic they aren't liberal about is drug use, and even THEN they have approved of the legalized medicinal heroin. You are confusing Sweden for Russia, which has the largest neo nazi population (over 1 million) in the entire country.

Sweden's 60% tax goes to things such as healthcare for everybody, paving and heating the streets, paid university for everybody... the entire population improves immensely from these measures. Considering educated, wealthy people tend to cause less crime, Sweden's crime rate is super low compared to the US

at little to no cost based on income, just because you arent aware doesnt
mean it doesnt happen, try asking google

From what I am reading, it is only federal health departments that do, and not everybody has close access to 1.

Quote:
I've already explained, sorry you cant keep up just like with the whole
"all women have access to  birth control but it's up to them to get it and
take it, they can obtain it at the health department among other places"

That really doesn't answer my question. Your explanation does nothing to answer whether YOU personally are against Planned Parenthood, or those other health departments covering people's birth control.

Insurance companies don't pay for anything.  Other policy holders do.  Buy your own whore pills.

You think menopause occurs at 40?  Are you shitting me?  Condoms aren't suggested for women over 35?  Why do you seem to think the pill is the only form of birth control?

For a supposedly informed person you are incredibly ignorant about the human reproductive system

Somehow I knew this thread was going to be full of immense stupidity the second I saw who the last poster was.

You keep saying "buy your own whore pills," as if you're actually making a clever statement. When you clearly ripped it off of my link from Jezebel.com

What, you want me to pat you on the back or something? Because you're not clever at all. You didn't even make that shit up; you're a PLAGIARIST. Some liberal feminist journalist was the one who coined the phrase. So you can shut the fuck up already trying to act all witty by continually saying "buy your own whore pills." You're NOT remotely clever. And you've said it about 8 or 9 times already, so you're not only a copycat who steals other people's jokes, you milk it by saying the same stupid thing over and over again, trying to get a laugh out of people.

If you REALLY were about paying less, you would advocate for insurance companies and medical companies and doctors to put a maximum on how much they can charge you for their services. In the past 2 decades, health insurance costs have risen by almost 500%; whose pockets do you think that money is going to, the insurance companies or the policy holders.

Menopause occurs for SOME women at age 40; in fact, some women go through menopause as early as 35 (for somebody who's accusing ME of being ignorant about reproduction I'd assume you would know that). And in any case, that STILL doesn't make a difference, because women are NOT SUPPOSED to take birth control once they reach age 35, especially if hypertension, stroke, and heart attack runs in their family.

Do you understand the difference between birth control pills and other forms of hormonal birth control such as the IUD or Depo Provera shot? THERE IS ALMOST NO DIFFERENCE. They aren't different chemicals, they are simply different LEVELS of female hormones, therefore once women take them over the age of 35, they become predisposed to developing blood clots that cause heart attack and stroke. Thus, many women are DISCOURAGED from taking birth control, any hormonal kind, once they hit age 35, UNLESS they have gone through menopause and are depleted in those hormones anyway.

You are berating me for supposedly being "ignorant" about the human reproductive system, yet you apparently thought there was a huge difference between the pill and the other types of hormonal BC. THEY'RE ALL HORMONES, hence they produce the same reaction.

LOL.  My use of their phraseology is called mockery.

Do you want fewer doctors and drugs?  Because that's what a cap will inevitably lead to.  You present a complete ignorance of economics.

Diaphragms and condoms are birth control.  They are not hormones.  You had not previously discriminated between hormonal methods and physical methods.  They are also cheap as shit.

Even when I had student health insurance during college, I was able to put my wife on it and her's was covered. Also Aetna and BC/BS.

I forget the other one she had, but they paid for everything up to and including abortion.

It's 2012. How the fuck will insurance companies not legitimately provide birth control but I could go get Viagra for $3.

she cant legitimately make the claim that her insurance didnt cover the
birth control because she's in a state where it's required by law that all
insurance companies operating within the state that provide a prescription
plan to provide coverage for oral contraceptives... so maybe if the company
wasnt covering her pill it's because she never turned it in to her insurance

it yet again stinks of bullshit in here

It depends on how the law is written, but just because it is covered doesn't mean everything is covered by covered. I have never, ever had 100% of my birth control covered even if I had it written for medical reasons. I still had to pay approximately $30-$50 out of pocket.

Also why do you hold out this information until the very end, that's such a dirty cop thing to do
