2 minute promo video I made for my Glow/Blacklight shirts (molecules/impossible images) - thoughts?

Hey everyone!
I re-did my little promo video for my Glow-in-the-dark and blacklight reactive shirts/hoodies.

Some of the shirts are psychedelic molecules, some are MC Escher-inspired Impossible Images (from my DMT Mandala), and one is the Flower of Life/Tree of life....

Would love to hear some thoughts/suggestions/comments on this, spent way too many hours last night doing the video editing :smile:

(and I just use a freebie video editor that comes with my laptop - Windows Live Movie Maker :smile:

)

It's 2 minutes long, please watch in HD, and check out the music by my friends (afro-cuban electronica)

Actually I am trying to re-do the whole website, but MAN! I just seem to be so busy these days!!! Working on it though, making this video was part of the movement toward getting them on the site, I wanted to have something to put on the top of the page. I have a bunch of shirts done already, if you like any let me know your size and what not (just PM me here, I give Shroomerites better deals than I would put directly on the site anyway, got a lotta love for this place :smile:

Pretty much all the shirts are $25, except the flower of life one, is takes a LONG time to make those so those are $30. Hoodies with any of the designs are $40 except the Flower, that would be $50 :smile:

Also I forgot to mention they're all on organic cotton T-s (not the hoodies) - so that is part of the pricing. I think they feel so much softer and also just earth-friendly :smile:

So DW does that stuff come as a liquid ?? (Wat makes the print screened on???) Be wicked to spin art a shirt that would react and glow.

No it is not silk screened - I am using what is called heat transfer vinyl to get the blacklight reactivity and glow. It is a quality thing - I just haven't found a silk screen glow in the dark that is #1 - true white/opaque (but I've found you can use an under layer of white and then clear + glow powder silk screen inks) and #2 glows as brightly as this heat transfer vinyl.

Also the heat transfer vinyl is said to be a really nice quality type transfer - I have read that vinyl, properly pressed, can outlast the garment. I have one (the very first one I ever made) that is 3 years old, and I wear it weekly. I actually made it BEFORE I bought the professional heat press, and just iron-ed it on using a regular iron, which was against manufacturer directions - but I wanted to see how it looked before investing y'know? It has some minor wear, but way less than I would have imagined.

I have one just about that old that I messed up the pressing (I put it on unevenly - so couldn't sell it and don't wear it in public) but I wear it just about weekly when I am making art stuff (since I don't care if it gets a little messed up) and that was made with the heat press it still glows awesome and has pretty much no wear even though I treat it a bit rougher since it is like a "quality tester"

The process to make them is pretty involved, I have to computer cut the images one at a time (which is why doing custom shirts is no problem, since I kinda have do every thing fresh each time, but it lets me totally play around and do new things if I want)

Here are some pics of me making a flower of life image for my "wedding altar" thingy, basically the same process...

Basically I have to cut and hand remove all the negative space, then press onto the shirt - I have to do this for the background first, and then the top layer - so it can be quite a process...
