Yes this is true... but NONE of us have seen this video. I am commenting on what I saw. I am commenting on the links you provided me. What I saw, and I saw all four, was not compelling enough to spend my $$$ for the privelidge to watch it in its entirety.

usually 10 minutes is the longest it takes for a jet to reach a plane that looses contact with the FAA

I've heard a lot about this. I think it is rather silly. The assumption that a plane would be in the air in 10 minutes is false. Period. It would be great if planes would be beamed (a la Star Trek) into the air, but it doesn't happen as easily as you think.

The pilot would have to be briefed and suit up. The plane would need to be checked and warmed up. The plane would need to be armed for this specific situation and perhaps fueled. Only then, could the plane taxi down the runway... all before it could "Scramble into the air."

10 minutes isn't realistic. In the military. People have to wait for orders. There is a chain of command. The right people would have to be notified after the FAA called them. Orders would need to be sent and received.

30 minutes sounds realistic.

Now, you're probably asking why they didn't use a plane that was in the air... because in the early morning of Sept 11, 2001 most domestic military planes weren't fully armed.

You get complacent when your country hasn't been attacked for 60 years.

Sure the administration wants to keep it quiet. Imagine the lives that would have been saved if those planes were shot down.

Any other points you need rebuted?
