Here is a link to a video file of me at work (its a 3MB quicktime, just so you know). This is how I earn my living. Real time of this video was about 25 minutes. I compressed it down to 1:45. This was one house. I have trenched footings for thousands of homes in Las Vegas over the last decade. Its just a job but it pays the bills.

You should've seen the strange look I was getting from the mexicans on the job when I set up a video camera and started videotaping myself at work. I know they were all thinking to themselves "Goofy damn white-boy!"

BTW- Sorry if the quality of the video is not that great. I'm still trying to figure out how to compress video files to manageable size for the internet and maintain the quality. I have high-quality versions of this but its too large to use on-line.

that's pretty cool. i like time lapse stuff like that..it just seems all comical and stuff.

by the way, do you have to take any classes on how to learn to operate that thing? or did someone just give you on the job lessons or what? seems kind of cool, i wouldn't mind doing it for a living. also, does that mean you earn about 30$ an hour?
