Basically, they'll go into Africa to fight off the Chinese investment/colonisation/development of Africa. A lot of China's oil came from Libya, which allowed Gaddafi to build that massive irrigation project.

It's like "Hey, thanks for all the oil, now you built that nice new water irrigation project we're going to bomb your country to shit and execute you when you're trying to surrender, and we'll smear shit all over your name because you did blow up some Scots in the 80's."

America has to send it's troops to america  because the powers that be are all pissy that China is there. That way America can be all "we got to stripsearch/execute without trial you because Chinese! Scary Al-Queda Chinese!" And Chinese can be all "We have to abort girl babies/execute you for organs because Americans! Scary Al-Queda Americans!"

Some mornings I should have just stayed in bed.



So what part of Africa The usa has tons of military bases the world over just because there sending maybe 500-200 guys to Africa doesn't mean we'd attack Iran from there.  Well there is a base near Yemen but thats small and used for CIA operation's.


Any attack on Iran would require a major deployment of not just active duty but pretty much all reservist.


Oh and we wouldn't launch from Africa when we have 2 country's we have been occupying for the last decade on both sides of iran :retawed:

My question is, why would just the US be sending their armies in Africa.

The entire world should send their armies there. So much bullshit going on in dozens of countries down there.

They tries on their own to make their countries better. Didn't work. Now it seems like the world should go blast some sense into them.

At first I was.

Now I'm not sure.

Too many corrupt governments and rebel armies trying to overthrow these governments. It makes a lot of casualties already.

Sending peacekeeping armies and stablizing some countries would be great. Perhaps manage to kill a few idiot dictators would help too.

When I say sending armies, I don't mean declare war and blow everything up. No offensives. Just defenses, humanitarian aid and peacekeeping missions. Well, maybe a few offenses against overly violent rebels.

I don't think you really appreciate how deeply embedded the problems of the different African countries, ethnic groups and regions are in the local culture. If you did, then you would be much less likely to believe that sending peace-keeping/-making missions would help instead of further destabilizing the political situation in the long term.

all the guy said was the US is sending troops to africa cause its getting hot and out of control.

i know africa is a continent... i know its broken up in regions... i was only talking about africa as a whole cause he wasnt specific as to where he was going to be deployed.
