Any Harmonica Players???

I'm kinda thinking about buying a harmonica, I've always wanted to learn how to play. I was a percussionist in highschool and started playing guitar senior year of highschool(I'm a junior in college now) and I can kinda mess around on piano.....So I'm somewhat musically inclined, nothing special, but I can pick stuff up. So I was wondering if someone could gauge how difficult learning harmonica is compared to say piano or guitar.....

much easier. A harmonica comes in a key, so as long as you have the right harmonica, (the right key) you can't hit a wrong note :lecture:

just playing it is incredibly simple.  Every hole on a standard harmonica makes a great sound playable in a scale.  The hardest part is breathing. From the diaphram--that's key.  Harmonicas are pretty easy to set down though so oftentimes it's easy to not practice nearly enough.

If you can teach yourself guitar you can teach yourself harmonica no problem.  I've got a Hohner Special 20, it's pretty sweet.  What kind of music do you wanna play with harmonica?

Just that bluesy stuff you know......it's just really soulful sounding

I play Harmonica in (C)

It's great for blues. I went with classic Honner. Paid 27$ for it. I love it.

I play notes 1-5 and once you get it down ( not hard, view some youtube vids if you have to ) You'll have it down in no time. It's quite fun. But it pisses a lot of people off in my house. I don't know why cause I love playing it so much.
