Mycobags - Pining
    #1568649 -

Approximately 4 weeks ago, I innoculated some mycobags and I have recently noticed some pins coming up on the sides of some of the bags, They are up against the plastic and do not appear to have much room to develop. I am a new cultivator and would appreciate any suggestions on how to deal with this. Thanks in advance!

There isn't anything to do unless you want to open the bag and expose the substrate to contaminates. The mycobag grows mushrooms but it doesn't grow pretty mushrooms. Expect distorted and twisted fruits as they squeeze into whatever space is available. Post a picture if you can.

an easy way to prevent this from happening alot...not completely is to wrap aluminum foil around the bottom of the bag about 1/2 inches above the substrate aluminum will block the light from the bottom and most of the sides, what does get below will actualy aid in pointing them upwards because it wont penetrate to far.... and you may want to use a little clear magic tape....just help keep it in place...

I'd let them grow invitro for the first flush, pick them and then case the bag. That's just what sounds good to me. Maybe I'm wrong.
