starbucks drug test.. wtf?
    #15678522 -

So I've just recently started smoking weed again. I got a call just now that I'm gonna be hired by starbucks in a few weeks when I return to the area. She said I have some paperwork to do that's gonna be emailed to me and when I get back I'll get background AND drug tested.

My ex never got tested and she worked for the actual store. This starbucks is located inside a supermarket though..

Anyone know the deal? I'm not THAT worried cause I have a few weeks til I have to do any sort of thing for this place and I have a high metabolism and low body fat.

Stop smoking now...Pass the drug test and get the job, then you can continue smoking.

Your going to be fine man...
By the way i would like a non-caf fat-free double-tall macciato..

could be part of an insurance thing between Starbucks and the Supermarket.
stop smoking, ASAP.

really though, they probably just want to make sure that you test positive for high amounts of caffeine.

nah i originally told her i could start right away but that i had to get my wisdom teeth removed at the end of the month.. which is why she said she'd wait a few weeks instead of starting right away. she then called back saying she wanted me at their location bad enough to rush it forward

benzos only take 2-3 days to clear out of your system, so you're good there.

stop smokin' and cross your fingers.

All jokes aside, this means you have the upper hand...
Call her back and demand more money then what she was going to pay you...
Seriously, it will work.

I'm more concerned about the embarrassment of doing all the fucking paperwork, and then going in and failing the test. I wonder if starbucks will keep that on record too which means I won't be able to apply to another location. She said I'll come into starbucks for the test, so no lab.

Usually those drug tests are contracted and I've never been watched or searched for a pre-employment drug urinalysis. Get a friend's clean pee before you go on in.
