starbucks drug test.. wtf?

So I've just recently started smoking weed again. I got a call just now that I'm gonna be hired by starbucks in a few weeks when I return to the area. She said I have some paperwork to do that's gonna be emailed to me and when I get back I'll get background AND drug tested.

My ex never got tested and she worked for the actual store. This starbucks is located inside a supermarket though..

Anyone know the deal? I'm not THAT worried cause I have a few weeks til I have to do any sort of thing for this place and I have a high metabolism and low body fat.

god dammit this sucks i finally got a job and i might not get it now.. ive cheated tests before by doing the water dilution trick but I don't know how well that will work since I've been smoking every day for a few weeks now. also idk if benzos will show up on this test

nah i originally told her i could start right away but that i had to get my wisdom teeth removed at the end of the month.. which is why she said she'd wait a few weeks instead of starting right away. she then called back saying she wanted me at their location bad enough to rush it forward

I'm more concerned about the embarrassment of doing all the fucking paperwork, and then going in and failing the test. I wonder if starbucks will keep that on record too which means I won't be able to apply to another location. She said I'll come into starbucks for the test, so no lab.

If they use an oral swab test your in the clear man. I didnt see if u said whether or not u know its. Piss test. If it isnt a piss test you Only need to be clean within 12-14 hours before taking it.

Usually those drug tests are contracted and I've never been watched or searched for a pre-employment drug urinalysis. Get a friend's clean pee before you go on in. :shrug:
