I get a kick out of polls or questionnaires that ask you to evaluate your attractiveness. I have no idea what that even means. Attractive to myself, to a random sampling of a thousand people, to whom? If a person has had 1000 lovers does that mean he/she is more attractive than someone in a long-term monogamous relationship with very few lovers?

Power and wealth and fame and posses ions and residence and height and personal history and accomplishments and body type and cultural cues and age and a zillion other things all factor in.

Baldness is unattractive unless you have made it a trademark like Yul Brenner or Bruce Willis or various sports stars.

Unsurprisingly, almost everyone thinks they are more attractive than average. Not sure how that works.

Attractive as in hot, physical, etc. Those polls and questionnaires are likely looking for no more info then those sites you rate people 1-10 based on an image of them.

The majority of people think they are better than average drivers, or something right? So it isn't about narcissism or overconfidence but something else, driving those two?

Attractiveness is certainy a subjective opinion.

While we all have opinions, not all of us are attractive.

Sure, I could rate a photograph of a woman, but I could not rate myself as I don't attract me. The women I have dated and or bedded have obviously found me attractive and the women that turned me down found me unattractive. Seems fairly digital (yes/no) and not a percentage such as 7/10. The women that said no did not let me put it in only 30% of the way.
