PICS from today's hunt.
    #1564702 -

I went for a walk by the river in the woods. Nothing special, no actives. But I did get a shitload of awesome(some not so awesome) pictures.

Remember, click to enlarge

Here they are, enjoy:

Nice pics! What kind of camera are you using, and what is the upper left mushroom? Mycena?

Not sure what that mushroom is, Mycenea or Collybia is my guess.

I use a Fuji FinePix S602. It's got a 3mega pixel CCD, but after interpolation the images are 6MP(not sure how that works, but it does). It's got all the bells and wistles of a regular 35mm SLR, and does macro down to 0.4 inches. I love that thing(still trying to figure it out though  ).

Great pictures, Dude. Excellent detail and focus.

The top left one with the golden cap - were you trying for the same sort of effect as the Oudemansiella photo ASloan803 is now using as his avatar?

That top right one with the incredibly striate cap is beautiful.

I think the Earth Tongue is a Geoglossum species.

Your Turkey Tails have more color than the ones I usually see.

Those corals look to be growing from wood, so I'll go with Clavicorona pyxidata. Your photo shows the crownlike tips really well.

Happy mushrooming!

Wowie Zowie, GumbyDude!  Those are some great pics!

Turkey Tails are very appropriately named... I have never seen them before, but I've heard of them; and I guessed right away that those were Turkey Tails in your one photo.  Nice finds, man!

Thanks you for sharing!!!!

Excellent photos Gumby! Half those shrooms could double as coral on a coral reef.

You guys must be getting loads of rain down south.

Keep em coming...

Thanks for all the compliments guys... With all this rain we've been having I'm sure there will be more pics on the way... hopefuly I'll find some of those weilii I've been searching so hard for

I know what you're saying about the turkey tails Mr Mushroom. I found a downed hardwood that was about 3 feet in diameter and about 150 feet long that was just COVERED in them.

As far as the colors go with the turkey tails ToxicMan... I played with the contrast a little bit in photoshop
