As a bloody mary connoisseur, I have only a couple qualms with your recipe...

To the untrained, un-aficcianado of the tomato infused spiced booze, drink your recipe seems fine, but MINE has:

Slow fire roasted tomatoes, that are THEN juiced using an expeller juicer,
Celery juice (fresh from the juicer)
Worcestershire sauce
Olive brine (just a dash)
Two olives
Franks Red hot sauce
Fresh ground black pepper
And a Dill Pickle spear to garnish....

Oh wait cannot forget the booze......

I prefer a Polish vodka, say Belvedere.....

(I used to mix these at a posh Bloody Mary bar in downtown Asheville, and they cost 16 dollars apiece....)

I have some dill pickles.
and now that I think of it I have seen that done before.

I thought about picking up some celery @ the grocery store , but I knew I had olives at home.
so I said fuck it.

I usually prefer Skyy vodka.  I know it's not the "best' out there. but, damn it's smooth and never
seems to leave me with a hangover.
my wife prefers Absolute and my moms prefers Grey goose.
to each their own I guess?

The fire roasted tomatos sound like the fucking bomb!

It WAS... It totally encompasses a flavor of the palette that the fake smoke stuff just cannot touch...

Don't get me wrong bro... there is NOTHING wrong with your recipe.... In fact:
If I were at a friends house and they made one HALF-AS-GOOD as yours, I would be most appreciative....

I just happened to work at an upscale restaurant that focused on local ingredients and High-prices.....
I personnaly would NEVER pay 16 bucks for a drink... (especially after drinking them for free for a couple years)

But I both congratulate you and commend you on your skills in mixology.
(to say I am a bloody mary snob is an understatement)

Bloody LeRoy
Barbecue sauce replacing tomato juice. Invented by the Reverend Horton Heat and Gibby Haynes during the recording of The Full Custom Gospel Sounds of the Reverend Horton Heat, which Haynes was producing

The Reverend Horton Heat is one of my favorite bands.
Psychobilly is the best way to describe their sound.

Whoaaaa dude, I could totally envision those folks drinking BBQ infused drinks, Although I would also envision them drinking them mixed with Southern Comfort for some reason  To each their own!
