Sounds kind of like a lot of rural places in America! I can relate, I'm from a bumfuck town like that myself.

Here in Georgia we have both "y'all" and "y'uns". My great grandmother used to use it a lot. :lol:

Supposedly, both yinz and y'uns are corruptions of "you ones" when Irish immigrants used it to distinguish the singular and pleural uses of the pronoun, "you." Gotta love redneck etymology.

Man, Ireland seems to be the source of all the problems in this thread ... :lolsy:

Yup, dogs can give at least one particular STD to a person (which would be embarassing to end up having ofc) and yep, people can die of an allergic reaction to other species semen - which, if you're into this, it's a good lesson to check for allergies.....people are even allergic to some other people's semen, so it doesn't come as a surprise.

You would be surprised at how many stories vets have of knowing clients were having sex with their dogs. It's not like you can call CPS....

However: the sex was consensual, the dog has been held since 2008! (WTF) And he faces life in prison, the owner. Why the hell has the dog been held all this time? And who the fuck cares...and also, to everyone dissing Ireland, most countries have strict bestiality laws. They aren't unique. Although life in prison, I don't know about that one.

In Ireland a sentence of life in prison doesn't actually mean the rest of your life in prison. It averages about 10 years depending on the severity of the crime, the probability another offence etc.
