I went just outside after I heard two loud explosions and a small tremor.  I went outside thinking it was something in my house.  As it turns out, most of my neighbors went out to say WTF.  F-22s have been flying over forever.

They probably stopped production but are still the most sophisticated Jet Fighter on Earth.  Only the American Air Force can have them for some time, at least until it becomes obsolete and we sell the technology to another country like we just did with the F-16 to Iraq.

something must have changed? I thought breaking sound barrier over residential areas was verboten?

i just assumed it was demolition charges going off at the old bethel manor.

Hmm Yeah, that could be it too?  But the blast felt like it was coming from above.  I know that they're getting rid of houses from Bethel Manor but this would be the first time they used explosives of significant caliber twice in a day for the first time.

if its within earshot of residential areas the pilots are fucking up, you should lodge a complaint with the base. when i was in the AF(as a F16 mechanic) if a pilot busted a sonic boom around populated areas they got in trouble and sometimes fined.
i'd call and find the number to one of the flightline buildings and ask for the number to the pilot's building and start bitching to them. if that doesnt net results nothing will.

Hmm thats odd. All day today there were TONS of military aircraft in the sky, from morning till night. Not jet fighters but military helicopters and what looked like cargo planes.

Maybe the US is warming up dem war machine engines. :scarface:

remember, we are pulling out of iraq and going into afghanistan and other places i dont know about as a political ploy.

odd though...i would be intrigued if i lived that close to a base to notice shit like that.

Every so often one of those huge ass military cargo planes flies over my house at an extremely abnormally low altitude, it almost blocks out the entire sky. Pretty intense.

That shit happens here all the time especially when these large cargo planes are doing "mosquito poison" runs.  It scares the shit out of me as they're buzzing along at around 1,000 ft.

My house is between the coast guard airport and the ocean.  Sometimes when I'm laying in the pool topless, I see the wings tip and the copilots head in the window lookin.

People that save lives get a free look from me though.
