In the interrogation field, they fired me for over-drinking.  I told them it was a tactic to get the enemy to talk, but I was alone and so they didn't believe it.  I tried to explain I was training myself.:shrug:

I couldn't come up with an excuse for all the lube and inflatable doll though...

Its a little fantastic to believe Iran doesn't threaten our interests abroad. They could inflict a counter value strike on us easily, shit 19 random jihadists brought us into a decade long mobilization of our armed forces. Are you arguing that the focused abilities of an entire nation couldn't do a better job hurting us than half assed al queda?

Anyway, they have a dirty history of using chemical weapons, and have made statements against Israel that would indicate future aggression against them. We have a defense pact with Israel in some respects.

I think they're cleared to fly at the moment, but that changes weekly.  Point is they're fucked overall.

just what would Iran gain by drawing it's self into a war, one in which
the government is the actor unlike with 9/11 where it was independents
that took refuge in countries sympathetic to their cause. Afghanistan was
not the actor in 9/11 so we couldnt declare war against Afghanistan. Iraq
was a different critter, it was due to a violation of a peace agreement
signed in 1991, it wasnt being fought over terrorism and while the media
hyped up the WMD claims and some were found as was yellow cake uranium it
was still not the reason behind going into Iraq

you've been told they made statements against Israel,  you were told that
Ahmadinejad said Israel should be wiped off the face of the map while his
actual statement was that Israel should have never been on the map, that
it shouldnt have existed but did due to the UN

yes, Iran and Iraq have both use chemical weapons when they fought each
other but isnt it also known that the US also has used chemical and
biological agents.isnt the US also the only nation to have used nuclear
weapons against another country on civilian populations?

why do we defend Israel, why do we send them billions in aid and weapons,
why have we violated the nuclear non proliferation treaty by sending nukes
to Israel, Jimmy Carter has admitted to that, Why have we given the
technology to North Korea to develop their nuclear program )carter) and
then later gave them billions to continue their work (bushII) just as we
helped Iran to start their nuclear program and helped to fund ot for 30 years

oh yeah... because the US is crazy and needs to make it's enemies


the US has controlled Iran until Ahmadinejad came into power, now the US
is angry that it's puppet nation in the middle east has cut it's own
strings once again... didnt we as a people reject the intelligence reports
saying that saddam was also working on enriching uranium, hasnt the press
worldwide, the UN security council and the IAEA also stated that these
were falsehoods?

I agree with you about the idiocy in funding all of these dictators that have only turned on us, and the assertion that the U.S. meddles far too much.

However, "defending America from here" is equivalent to sticking your head in the sand and hoping your problems vanish. We live in an increasingly global world that makes countries much, much closer together. Moreover, the weapons countries are capable of acquiring can give them the capacity to render the U.S. a dustbowl without their troops ever setting foot on our land.

To me, the CIA has done many botched operations, but solutions are not nearly as simple as "don't attack other countries". I think there is a human fear response to the incredibly chaotic and uncontrollable nature of war and reality itself that causes people to frame the problems as obviously fixable.

F-22's have been operational since about 2002.

Not saying it's our production plane but we have used it on at least one stealth mission. As have the Israeli's

kinda... they're frequently grounded because they're plagued with problems,
not just one or two planes, all of them are grounded, the last time was a
