Shipping Cuttings

What is the best way to ship cuttings, if one to ship a salvia cutting in the mail how could he assure that it would survive?

i make a cutting following info provided in the faq under basic horticulture.

Then i wrape the bottom up in a rather damp cloth. Then warp in another not so damp cloth, then perhaps overlap that with a news paper (sometimes not someimtes do).

Put it in a large ziplock bag, blow some air into it - just enough to fit into the box i'm shipping though. then send it off.

you might think about using some rooting hormone so that it could be more ready to root and grow once the recipiant receives it.

B vitamins in the water also help protect it and help promote rooting after it's taken out.
