Didn't really know what forum this belongs on.

Maybe you haven't really given it much thought regarding abortion or believe that the woman should be able to choose what to do with her baby, well this might put this subject into a different perspective

won't put anything into perspective if it's pro abortion.  If I could, i would personally be the one giving the abortions to thousands of women daily.  That's how few shits I give about "pro-life" which is really anti choice.

so you believe its ok to choose to kill? Even its the baby is unborn? The movie shows the parallel to the holocaust and how over 50 million babies have been killed in 30 or so years. I'm sure I wont convince anyone to change there mind, but the video can make you think about it differently

Just about everybody is pro-life/anti-choice at some point in the development of life.  Unless you are like an ancient Roman who holds the power of life and death over their progeny no matter how old they are.  If you are against post-birth abortion, you are anti-choice.

I won't think of it differently, because a mass of cells is not a baby, it's a mass of cells. Also, auto-population control helps the planet, less bastardized carbon footprints to deal with. If a woman plans on aborting her mass of cells, she surely isn't going to take care of her mass of cells when it comes out of her vagina and goes on to piss and moan on a daily basis. End of this retarded argument.

So how do you feel about the death penalty? It's interesting how those who go on so much about the sanctity of human life tend to be the first ones to demand the killing of those who are suspected of having fucked up. They also tend to be the most pro war people.

The fact of the matter is that legal or not, women will still be having abortions. The issue of legality is what makes it safe for women, as they don't have to go get Hepatitis from a guy in an alley with a coat hanger. Women have many reasons for going through with these things (i.e. abusive partner, rape, financial instability, etc.), many of which are reasons that would elude to the unborn child in question having a difficult life ahead of them to begin with. An interesting analysis by statisticians has actually shown a recent (past 10 or so years, I don't remember off the top of my head) drop in crime rates nationwide over the past few year. One of the possible reasons being given is the Roe v. Wade verdict in 1973, as many of the children that would be at prime crime commiting age were not actually born, as many would be mothers seek abortion in impoverished areas where they would be unable to provide, and the children would likely wind up on the streets anyway.

I'm not saying it's right or wrong, I personally don't think I could ever go through with it, but I also have never been in any of those positions. To each her own, if men ever had to deal with that decision personally they would think very differently I'm sure. I'm not saying men shoudn't have a say in the matter, but I think it's case by case and many men aren't even around for the women who make this choice.

Why not just give the kid up for adoption? I mean, its not the kids fault, why end a life at the very start of it? I used to be so passive about it, but its just so sad, and most people now seem to either don't care at all or are for abortion.

Miss Mush: how can you decide that the baby will end up having a difficult life? maybe they will overcome the odds and live a very productive and fulfilling life.

shadowplay: I would only support the death penalty if they knew for absolute certain that they killed someone intentionally without a cause. Other than that, if it cant be proved and only speculated then I dont think it should happen. And im not pro war, I think all of our wars need to end asap.

Cutless: when do you believe the life begins then? You know about partial birth abortions? You cant say its not fully alive then.

things live, things die, why not end something before it started?  They're not babies, they're not people, they're just tumors at that point.  We are also HUGELY OVER FUCKING POPULATED.  Why bring in a child that probably won't be loved, will contribute to over population, etc?  There's no god damn point.

bbl337: how can you rationalize your statements by not knowing who it is being born? at six weeks into pregnancy you can clearly make out the face, eyes, hands, and heartbeat. Sounds like a baby to me. We are not overpopulated, people just got dependent of government in order to live and that doesn't work.

Its a human life, that is the point. People get so worked up when someone abuses animals, yet that very same person might be willing to kill a baby.
