Hey again.

Psilocybe subaeruginosa

P. Azurescens

and pics of what i found

head was taken off in this pic to make a print which is still being made

any input would be great. trying to make a pore print but my camera doesnt seem to pick up the print.. maby i need to leave it for longer??

Those are a very common mushroom in Sydney.
They don't stain blue and are not psilocybes, but you I could see why you might mistake them for subaeruginosa, as they grow in the same sort of habitat. (P. Azurescens does not grow in Australia.)
Beyond that I don't know what they are, but they are everywhere around here.

Those are Hypholoma (Naematoloma/Stropharia/Psilocybe/whatever, I think Hypholoma is the most current genus classification, but I've seen it under all the others) aurantiaca, you aussies have been posting them practically every other day  .  The red caps and red bruising are distinctive.  Spore print will be a dark grey-purple/brown color.  They're common in woodchips here in seattle too, they like the same habitats as the cyans.

We do see aurantiaca quite commonly, and i would say that the gill colour, cap texture appear wrong for the common red-capped variant.

gill colour is wrong for gyms/pholiota.... they have rusty brown spores which is evident by the gill colour in maturity...
.
Hypholoma aurant. have simlilar spore colour to psilocybes and mature gills are usually very noticably purplish

my bad i was just throwing something out there i dont really know alot about gyms i just kinda know what they look like.

also blue meanie i think that the stropharia aurantiaca go reassinging to hypholoma aurantiaca
so both of you are talking about the same mushroom. peace
