And you write English very well, abert. Do you have a question or are you just showing your babies off? This might be better in the Grow Logs forum.

Nice!
it will be interesting if this was an one time event or a reproducible way of fruiting P. mexicana.

What do you think caused the frutiing of this Anno? Perhaps the overly wet vermi, provided a nice micro-climate resembling rain?

I was asking about abert's grow but thanks for the links, Anno. I had read Una's log a while ago but hadn't seen yours.
A week of cold shocking seems more reasonable than a month, and it looks like you got a nice yield. If it was possible to do this with a double casing rather than the cold shock method it would be easier to do more than one or two trays at a time or larger trays.

una was growing the "a" strain, which fruits poorly. i believe anno was growing a different, better fruiting strain.

They look like little sombreros.
What color are the spores Anno? They don't resemble the dark prints of the cubensis I'm assuming, the gills are too lightly colored.
Anyway, excellent job Albert-
Try and fix those pics!

oooh....ahhhh....:) Really neat find abert, I learned something today. Was, er, your friend able to get prints? I wish it were a bigger yield, but if he's just looking for spores who cares. Still, 4 months and change is a long time for a couple of grams. Not that I know anything, but good job, man

Has anyone bought an "A" strain print from sporeworks? I know large prints are sometimes cut in half, andI was wondering if you get multiple prints for a mushroom this size.

not likely, as small prints are the norm [or rather, all you will find] with this species. i haven't tried their mexicana prints. abert, that is verry impressive.

Excellent work!

3 months is quite long - there must have been plenty sclerotia inside substrate when you cased. That's very important in my opinion.
