Cold shocking

A FOAF was just about to cold shock a casing when a cannabis induced though came to him. Wouldn't cold shocking the casing with saran wrap over it instead of tinfoil and a light source (one of those stick anywhere press lights) shining on it induce the pinning alot quicker than just cold shocking the casing in the dark?

Now if he used a blue tinted light it seems to me that it would aid somewhat.

Anyone got any opinions on this or any advice?

I think it would only help, if anything; the more evenly timed the fruiting conditions, the better the pinset, in theory.

Don't know how much of an effect it would have, though; I usually cold shock in the fridge O/N and then just expose to light at R.T. I do not like tin foil for casings.

Feel free to try, though; can't hurt! Post your results!
