Caseing questions

A friend asked me to post his question, jars were cased with just vermeculite, let to grow out, cold shocked in frig for 24 hours, but then after being in the chamber for almost a week nothing has pined, cold shocked in frig another 24 hours, took them out last night but noticed this morning that there is blueing on the substrate on one of the trays, any ideas???

ok i have dug around & seems that it can take up to 2 weeks for pinning to begin, so maybe that is his problem
