Why?

I've proven plenty of things through experiment. I proved the button on my monitor turns it on, that heating increases the rates of various chemical reactions, that the current times the resistance equals the voltage of an electric circuit, and so forth.

What makes you think you can't prove things? Much of the natural sciences depends on such.
