You can get several flushes from a cake. Also when they are no longer producing. Flip them over and you will often get another flush.

yeah, forget casing. Cakes werent meant to be cased. Let them grow. You will always get two flushes and some strains like equador will grow up to 5 flushes on cakes. The flushes do get smaller each flush but if you drill a hole in the top of the cakes and stick a straw in it tehn fill teh straw with water then your flushes will be greater. Have fun, i sure do miss cakes that why i have a 1/2 gallon pf cakes colonizing as we speak. But cakes are alot of work espeacially if you plan on casing them. There are many more teks that are much easier if you plan to case.

I just injected water using a flame sterilized 16ga. needle on a 60cc syringe.
