My apartment complex just hired a cop to patrol the premises at night

This saddens me.  Now I'll have to be all paranoid and stay inside while tripping. Now if anyone decides to be an ass and make any sort of complaint about me I'll probably have a cop knocking on my door because he won't have anything better to do.

There are a lot of shady people living here (which I'm ok with. Makes me look like a good law abiding citizen compared to them) so I wouldn't be suprised if this was an attempt to get them to move.

And yes it's a real cop.

Except that they don't know who all is actually involved in illegal activity, so this could let them weed themselves out.

Nope no cameras here. Does seem a bit odd to be hiring a cop and not even bother to have cameras though.

And I think I'll just stay out of his way instead of being his friend. I doubt I could pull it off without being weird about it.

He can't really do anything if you're just walking around outside. Just don't do something stupid to make it obvious you're tripping/ intoxicated.
