1st Grow -Mexicana A & GT/B+ (With pics!)

:raveface:This will be SWIM's first time growing so he told me to keep a log for him. He will be growing Psilocybe Mexicana from sporeworks in rye berry bag from The Out Grow (http://www.out-grow.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=4&products_id=27&zenid=c6d6843j1onukd9nukef6oiuf4) , as well as aa few different strains of cubies in Madbags from The Mad Season. The Mexicana was noc'd up today with 2.5cc's in each bag. The other 5 Madbags will be noc'd up tommorow. I will have pics tommorow hopefully...  Wish me good vibes! :raveface:

All of my bags have been innoc'd. So hopefully the first sclerotia forms around 30 days. I also hope to have full colonization in a month with the Madbags. I have 2 bags with B+, two bags with Golden Teacher, and 1 bag with PF classic.

I should have pictures of the other bags soon, I broke them up today because the growth was not as fast as I wanted. :feelsbadman:

If you're referencing the bags in those pics, they shoulda been broken up awhile ago.  Are you even supposed to shake sclerotia species?  I honestly don't know..

Its not recommended the mycellium is much more fragile than cube myc

I think that's sclerotia forming, or metabolites. Hard to tell as i'm looking at it on an iPod screen.

I don't think that the sclerotia forming strains will pin invitro. Someone correct me if i'm wrong

Ok so when pinning my mycobags would it be ok just to use natural light for the 12/12 cycle? Also I will be posting some pics later on today of the sclerotia.

You could do that.

Just put the bags by a window during the day but don't let them get direct sunlight through the window.
Not because they can't handle the light but because you could end up heating the substrate up too much.

If the sun beams directly into the window from 12-1:30 then just move it to another place in the room during those hours.
