Is washing leafs individually enough to remove pesticides?

I recently used a non-organic pesticide on a couple skullcap plants, my question is if washing each leaf individually with soap and then hanging them to dry be enough to remove the pesticide? I don't know what it was exactly, I got it by asking for whitefly pesticide at a nursery  but know nothing about it other than that.

It really depends on the chemical used and without any knowledge we can't tell. I'd wait 14 days or so to be sure, it wouldn't of been that toxic but you never know.

it would also depend if its water soluble...many are not so that rian doesnt wash it off...i wouldnt eat that for a while personally...but i am a chem-a-phobe

I forgot to mention, I bought a concentrate wich was later diluted in water, still going to wait a couple weeks though.
