Does higher CO2 levels trigger pinning?

i read on mycotopia that too much air exchange slows down pinning, and you should just fan 1x untill pins, then fan 3x when fruiting?

everyone here is recommending fanning.. im confused

No. Fresh air exchange, exposure to light and a drop in temperature trigger pinning.

Yes...Try to keep the CO2 level up during colonization, to keep your substrate from being consumed, then lower the levels through more air exchange to initiate pinning.
