Not all philosophy is stupid shit like that.  That's just a matter of definition or psychology anyways.

About the forum: I agree that much of it is bullshit, but then most of the people here seem to not have any knowledge of philosophy and the forum resembles pothead ramblings for the most part, though there are interesting issues brought up. I guess it depends on your exposure: I imagine if you hadn't considered some of the underlying themse before then some of the stuff here would seem interesting, but if your familiar with some philosophy you can identify a lot of the usual threads as bullshit or just a simple issue of arbitrary answer.
