memory cards make shittier pictures. people don't have to frame things or compose when they dont have to worry about memory.

facebook censors important news, if you agree with censorship and them using your data for facial recognition software, by all means, let them use you while you think you use them.

I don't buy the idea that people are documenting stuff.  Photo's are terrible for documenting, they don't capture the reality of a situation at all.

I figure its like the OP suggested, its measure to help them mentally frame their lives a particular way and share that view with others.

Man this thread is kinda silly.

Lots of people lead really different lives.  I know girls that are models and *literally* go out 4-5 nights a week partying and going to model convention thingies and doing all kinds of shit.

They take photos of themselves for all sorts of reasons.  Mostly, people their whole lives have told them that they like what they're seeing.  Sometimes it's for enterprise reasons.  Models DO take lots of photos, right?  They can capture their bodies from different angles and learn how to pose better and make more money.


If you take 1000 photos of yourself you're a fucking nerd, if they do it they're just being girls.



Definitely not my "type of girl" though.

I find FB pretty handy. There are a few old buds that I would never have hooked back up with had it not been for FB.

Having said that, it is pretty retarded the kind of shit people put on there.

I have a bunch of photos, but only about 3 or 4 of me. Mostly mushrooms and grows (edibles, of course), fishing photos, nature shit and funny shit
