I just seen the WTC movie tonight, definately disappointing. Your photo is better than the movie. I would really like to go to NYC to pay my respects at the WTC site.
AMAZING photos overall!! What kind of camera are you using for that?

dub step... my buddy, DJ Ricky ricardo, got me into it.
THe party was dope. We rolled up around 11.. my boy and I... and he recognized Hatch and Youngsta walknig around the streets nearby lost. I had no idea who they were. He never met them before and he just walked up to them and started talknig to them like he knew them for years so I assumed he did.
We shook hands and the whole night I'm like "uhhh so what's your name again? Hatcher? huh? what?"
Nice blokes. They even got us right in through all buddy buddy with security so we didn't have to wait in the fucking monstrous line and get pat down. Good thing too... cough cough... for my sake... wink wink nudge nudge.

Canon Digital Rebel XT. I've got a fisheye as well I use randomly.
Oh yea.. and I *hate* using flashes... period. I do whatever I can in the darkest of dark rooms to keep from having to use one...
I have to get a little resourceful sometimes.
I got more clubbbbbin pics here:

you have the camera I want and cannot afford, and apparently you have all the goodies that go with it! I am also not fond of a flash, and do mainly out door photos. I have not tried this technique yet though. I only have a Canon A520, and am not liking it lately. I am getting an emense amount of grain, and mainly in my outdoor photos. It has ruined MANY good shots for me. I have actually contacted Canon about it and I am sending them photos of what I have been getting. I have an old Canon AT-1, which I LOVE. Best quality camera I own. I ususally stand behind canon, but I'm very disapointed with mine.

I still have my 25-30 year old manual SLR that I use as well
The fisheye for the rebel was only 30 bucks.. it was a cheap ass attachment.. really nice fisheyes run about a grand.
I would like to get a telefoto (about 300mm at least) for my canon but that's gonna run me about 500-600 bucks.

yea I know it is crazy expensive. That is why I did not persue photography to college. Too much money goes in, and not that much money comes out. But it is an amazing hobby, that I would like to turn into a profet some day. I am building a portfolio for weddings right now. But right now I have more nature shots than anything.

Heh I totally PM'd you beforehand didn't I? :P
See.. gotsta hook a nyukkah up
I'll hit you up next time. They'll probably have another party before the end of the year. This last one was SICK! SOme lame wannabe punk/rock festival was going on there so my buddy and I walked in with the DJ's and it was just us and about 50 of the most emo-ish 15 year olds on the planet listening to some wussy 17 year old bands... Half the club was made up of the bands' parents.
I thought the party would dud out as we waited almost two hours for the damn wuss rock show to be over. It finally ended and the place cleared out around 12:30 as the tables were being set up.
Joe Nice went on a quarter to 1. I look behind me and WHAM! It's like every dubhead on the planet could SMELL that it was starting and rolled up at the same time. I could smell the herb all over that shiznit and a couple hundred heads in the crowd were all boppin' up and down. Luckily we got in good with the DJ's so I got to hop up on the stage behind everyone and take some pics. I fuckin' should have gotten closer.
I don't think the club owner took a dj show seriously.
He'll definately think twice.

don't be fooled.. emo people are *everywhere* in the city.. party or whatever, it's the sort-of-hip thing to do.
i hate it. I was at a party in brooklyn a few months ago.. sipping tea all night and partying it up. The place was full of hipsters... to the walls. I take up a fair amount of space when i dance.. at least an area 6' in diameter, so it's a little like hell to be in a room like that. I've actually had people ask if i minded not dancing. WTF.. it's dance mousic.. take your PBR in a can to the wall and rub you butts on each other.. or whatever it is your doing standing there.
.. sorry.. rant over.
I just really dislike hipsters in my scene.

next time, i say.
my friends are actually throwing me a party this weekend.. benefits my legal defense fund. feel free to come up, i'll tell you where to go.
