Just so you know I got my booster about 7 weeks ago after being forced back into service. They now hand a brochure to you after they force the shot on you. The brochure states side effects from teh shot and wha tnot and info on the shot. Im pretty sure they now know the shot is causeing some problems. My first tour in 06 we were allowed to waive it but had to sign a form. I think they relized most people hate shots and waiving it for the hell of it and now it's mandatory again. Id definetly go to the VA again and bitch my effin brains out. You should be eligible for disability and alot of stuff they probly dont wanna give you or let the world know this anthrax shot that thier forcing on thier husbands and children can cause terrible reactions. Just curious did you do a tour or spend more than 180 days in country if so you know your eligible for 5 years free halthcare from the VA and being med discharged you should have VA helthcare anyways and I take it some form of disability. Id definetly storm the VA asap.

I wouldn't be surprised that your symptoms and conditions are a result of this vaccination... However it seems like something that would be very difficult to prove.  There are way too many variables.

I wouldn't recommend legal action.  It will consume your funds and your time and in the end you'll lose and the lawyers will have all of your money.

Maybe if enough people get together about this issue something can be done to prevent the military from giving these mandatory vaccinations... but it seems the sad reality either way is that you are going to have to learn to live with your condition.

You could try adjusting your diet and getting more exercise.  Also, you could install a shower head that removes the chlorine from tap water, it could help a bit with your skin condition.  They aren't too expensive either.  You could also try using organic virgin coconut oil as a moisturizer and as a topical cream instead of the steroid stuff.  I've read a lot of positive things about it for treating skin conditions.  As for the other stuff you are experiencing, I don't know what to tell ya.  I only know a little bit about what could help with skin because I have a condition myself.

None of that is probably what you wanted to hear, but I hope you get to the bottom of this mystery and start to feel better.

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. I would contact the author of the CBS news article the poster above me linked and tell them about your situation and ask if they could direct you to someone who can do something about it.  Share your story with as many people you can think of that might be able to help until you find help, because it sounds pretty messed up. This world is incredibly twisted in many ways, hearing of this is no surprise.

I would just go to the woods for a long time if I were you and meditate, consult the Sage.

You make think this is absurd or cliche even, but it doesn't matter.  In your situation it could not possibly hurt to try anything like this. 

May your sickness dissipate into the ground of mother nature and you be freed from all the strings laid upon you.

I have a friend who recently got involved with the army, they have since shipped him to south korea. He said they gave him so many vaccinations it is unbelievable. 

It seems extremely questionable to me.

I was forced to take a few of these shots while I was over seas. I never had any "immediate" reactions to it thank god. But I often wondered what it caused long term. Unfortunately I'll never know. I have had several problems and often wonder if they may have stemmed from this shot and others they have given us.

I know exactly how you feel. I got sick after returning from Iraq back in 1991 and have had numerous problems dealing with the VA. My original med records came up missing from my numerous visits to the emergency room back on Ft Hood. I have gone through  VA evaluations and been told there is nothing wrong and civilian doctors can't figure it out either. I have been told on many an occasion that the reason they won't admit to a problem is they don't want to pay us or pay for treatment for problems they caused. My father in-law was sprayed with Agent Orange during Vietnam and he is just getting the VA to admit to problems from that some twenty years later. So I figure we still have a few more years to wait before they will admit to it being a real problem and deal with it.

Yes, but the long term effects of it wasn't known before being injected in us. We were also given the choice to either get the shot or court marshal.
Some of us in the military have had adverse reactions to it. Same thing goes for any vaccine that's out. Some people have bad reactions to them.

I have been through this.  I am 100% permanent and total through the VA.  I filed a Vaccine Adverse Event Report, I also opened a case with my service's Vaccine Health Care Center and after a year of jacking around got paperwork that acknowledges that vaccine made me ill.  It does cause depression as well - in addition to depression caused from the muscle skeletal pain.  I want to direct you to an old site GulfWarVets - I learned a lot from other Veterans on the Bulletin Board.  I also went to Dr. Meryl Nass, who is a strong anti anthrax advocate.  For any of you that went to theater - get in and go through the Gulf War Registry.  THEY DO KNOW THE VACCINE CAUSES ISSUES, as a matter of fact if you search the VA you find they have opened up the claims process for Chronic Fatigue, Fibromyalgia, IBS - skin condition and a whole host of issues that plague us.  What happens when you go to the registry is they evaluate you and refer you for treatment - BUT THIS IS SEPARATE FROM APPLYING FOR BENEFITS OR COMPENSATION.  You must do that - but to have a chance at this you must have good documentation. Get buddy letters about before and after - and do the footwork yourself to get records from any doctors you have seen.  I want you to be aware when dealing with the VA - they look for your condition to be CHRONIC - this means - you have to establish you have these conditions.  I say start civilian and find a doctor that believes Chronic Fatigue and Fibro are real.  Rhuematologists can be helpful with Fibro - (but be advised they don't usually believe in CFS)  - also understand the medical world is very political form the medications to fighting over legitimacy of chronic illnesses.  You must be your own advocate - and guys, though I know most of you hate it you have to go to the doctor.  Now gather all this up and get into the VA and apply for the benefits you deserve.  They know- they know, they know and the VA is modernizing even if it is at a slow pace.  Don't let any service rep that has sea stories or war stories from past wars let you believe you issues are NOT legitimate. If you have to represent yourself there is plenty online to support this if you do the research. Lexis/nexis.  The best hope is documentation - and google.  You are not alone, the vaccine makes people ill and in some cases it ruins lives through disabilities.  Do your footwork NOW if you are starting to have symptoms because it does progress.
