the legal shit isnt on me this time, it's apparently on my ex wife's new
boyfriend, a guy who's real name she apparently didnt even know, I was
pretty well bent out of shape when she moved the fucker in with the kids
there and learning what I know now makes shit 10x worse

I did get a visit from DFCS a couple weeks ago after the tornado, the
school called and were concerned about their well being since the first
series of tornados knocked out power at the school and they couldnt get in
touch with her for a 3rd time in a couple of weeks as well as some issues
they had expressed at school, oddly DFCS only wanted to make sure they had
a bed and food over here, I was in the process of cooking biscuits on a
charcoal grill. previously she called DFCS on me claiming I was beating
them (I wouldnt get back together with her or run her all over town) and
after 2 visits they closed the case and started investigating her

I hope you get custody of your kids. Judging from what I've read, you ex isn't fit to care for them.
