UUUUUUmmmmmmmmm. He only supported Kerry after he lost the nomination. You COULD have voted for him during the presidential primaries so that Dennis would be in Kerry's place right now. (*Sigh*.....how I wish).....

I did vote for him, and got hundreds of other in my state to do the same. Too bad there aren't more people that care enough to do the same, we could make a huge difference.

Since he is a Democrat, and there can only be 1 democratic nominee, and he didn't win the nomination, he pretty much HAS to support Kerry. But he did tell his supporters to vote their concience.

pg: i still may vote for him...
i would have voted for him in the primaries but unfortunately i was taken from my home in handcuffs moments before i was going to go vote. i had my kucinich shirt on when they arrested me and the pigs were making comments like "oh with you and your freinds here gone he'll only get 3 votes in the whole state! hah!"

i was disappointed with kucinich because once he lost the primary it felt like he lost a lot of the optimism that he had had prior and kind of fell into line with his party for fear of being totally ostracized.

i wished he would've said screw unity of the democratic party if it's going to be unified behind john kerry, because kerry is a shill and he's playing his role perfectly. the john kerry that everyone thinks they're voting for is a myth, he does not exist.

Not exactly. Under fascism, the government controls corporations(and everything else for that matter), while under corporatism, corporations buy influence in the government, and are rewarded with subsidies, contracts, tax breaks, etc.

That sucks that you were arrested. I'm sorry! At least you had your Kucinich shirt on though!  :thumbup:

I just thought I'd clarify that you CAN'T vote for Dennis Kucinich, he is not running for president anymore in this election; he can't run for president because he was a democratic nominee in the primary and the primaries are over. Each party can only have one candidate and the democratic candidate is John Kerry. ( :mad2: - I know).  You could write in his name (if you don't have voting machines (don't get me started on those!) but then your vote would have no power other than to make a statement. 

He legally has to support John Kerry, unfortunately.

its all just one big popularity contest, i say DONT VOTE cause their all snakes and are ALL fucking us behind our backs if your not part of the government or closely related they dont give two shits about you its all about MONEY and you people who vote and support them are the ones giving it to them. not voting is how we get what we get.  voting may not seem to change much but everythign takes time.  we arnt gonna get an honest system in one election.  probably take a century or two.

It will all change when we realize that all of us ARE the nigers/jews/mouslims of the 21st.  it isnt gonna take a bunch of rich broadcasters bickering around a table in front of the mkillions of veiwers.  it wont change if all we do is vote out a guy/party.  historically the only real change happened with force, which is unfortunate.  look what the africans had to do jsut so they could sit in a fuckin bus!  they are still treated liek shit for absolutly no reason.  plus the sniper rifle did a lot.  why cant bush threaten the mob damnit!

we still go to our 9-5 jobs 5 days a week, give teh government half our money, or more.  go about our little lives whinning and doing nothing.  perhaps if a couple million people stormed the whitehouse something might happen.  i knwo for a fact that there are MANY canadians that would come down and join the protests, but it never happens.  here i am a total hypocrite discussing politics and bitching over the internet and not doing anyhting :crazy:

Proportional voting is good step forward imo.  and hopefully here in BC it will happen after this election.  Perhaps being able to vote for others in power would be benificial.  ie deputy ministers.
