I was checkin out my moms flower garden, and noticed she's growning the poppy plant! There's about 50+ or more of them in her yard!

You do know those are papaver orientale? right??

See the fuzzy crown in that last pic?, there is nothing to "SPECIAL" about those poppys, but they look cool.

I was under the impression that all poppies were opium poppies. I'm no expert. I've never grown them. I've never even seen opium.

Papaver Somniferum = Opium Poppy
Papaver Rhoeas & Papaver Orientale, probably others are inactive
