Beer keg... warm?

Hello. Thought this question would be appropriate for 'the pub'. Anyways, I have an upcoming party this saturday, and want to buy a keg. I want to buy the keg in advance if possible, like today or tomorrow... but was wondering if beer will be fine if its warm in a keg for 4 days? Assuming it isn't opened at all and no air gets in... anyone ever bought a keg before? Any help appreciated... thanks.

Kegs are teh gays, the beer tastes like shit. Since the quality of the beer is already garbage you shouldnt have anything to be worried about.

If it's already cold it needs to stay cold.
You might be able to find a keg that hasn't be refigerated yet, that would be fine to hold at room temp.

This^
I don't think you would have much of an issue if you leave the keg in an air conditioned room for a few days and it warmed up to 60F-70F. It's large fluctuations in temperature that you have to worry about because it will make the beer to go skunky...

How do you know that the quality of the beer he's getting is garbage? He didn't state what kind of beer is in the keg and you can get any beer kegged. In my opinion most craft beer tastes better from a keg on draft than poured from a bottle.

Kegs are the way to go for sure. Around here a lot of the best beer is served straight from a cask. The quality is a step above bottles or kegs.

I'm no beer expert, but the metallic taste that eventually seeps into beer from the keg is awful. You don't get this with glass.

you should just be careful not to agitate it to much while moving it, that could take a lot of gas and of course keep it pretty cold. Other than that I think you'll be fine.

You don't get it with kegs either, they're passivated.
