Snake visions and visons of an eye

I live in holland and truffles are easy to get so i work on those. On my first try i did 15g Atlantis something and despite lack of hallucinations i can see patterns in the floor and walls (i found out later that if i close my eyes these patterns form an image, but i still need to try a higher dose i think to see what image it actually forms)

The only hallucinations i have had where Eyes all over trees and one in my toilet while i try to take a leak but drift away in deep thoughts.
Whilist there are mind blowing similarities between pink floyd music and the environment around me everytime i trip i mostly lack hallucinations.

The latest one included me thinking i would die when i tried sleeping, envisioned my heart and felt it beating like a drum the whole night long. I saw a snake in my vision and had experienced Telepathy of some sorts with my roommates (it wasn't mutual) and long distance with some girl.. wich felt so real i could not resist believing it actually was telepathy i just felt how she feels inside and did actually communicate a bit and feeling her reaction to what i had to say was just unbelievable.

Now, my question is.. what does this all mean? I do reality checks all the time so while i was never dreaming and never see distortions in my vision what the hell happened to me. :S
And what can an eye/snake represent?

I had those truffles too last week. Check 'tripreports' for that account.

What does it mean? No one can tell you that except you.

The associations are invariably tied to your own preconceptions and issues.

What tripping does is that it allows you to dive into your subconscious without restraints. It will show you your fears, desires and longings and also the beliefs you hold about yourself.

But because the experience is unrestraint it's hard to make sense of it.

The only advice i have for you is to look for 'bruggetjes', familiar paths from idea to desire. What do you hope for yourself, and why isn't it manifesting? If this is at all relevant ofcourse.

finding of eyes is one of the built-in things we do, we have been doing it since babyhood.
we find them then we try a series of faces to establish a connection with the eye-holders: will they be nice, will they be harsh?

any dot could be an eye. and if you check while stoned you are likely to construct an eye from a dot or a slit, as easily as finding one.

finding snakes or insects is another built-in routine, maybe it is genetic. Any connected length or progression of marks can be tested for being a snake, and if it is moving as a unit (part of the test) then we take up our defense.

any progression of details at nearly any size that moves as a unit could seem to be a snake and while stoned, even things that are still will seem to move as a unit, especially if you check for them.

checking is like constructing, memory is indistinguishable from sensation...

these are only messages from beyond in the sense that, as a tripper, you should earnestly investigate about mind and consciousness, because that is what you do when you play with psychedelics.

both eyes and snakes are symbols of knowledge and power, life energy ... blah blah blah...
examine life is all I say,
find out for yourself.

Psychedelic visuals are only part of the trip. You can eat magic truffles, sit and wait for some "hallucinations" (Open Eye Visuals - OEV) and nothing particularly unusual seems to be happening apart from a few indistinct patterns. Then the next thing you know, you are wondering if the CIA will buy your idea for a giant dive-bomber with a built-in cinema, and you realize the trip has sneaked in under the radar while you weren't looking...

You can expect all kinds of weird thoughts and ideas to enter your head when you are tripping. You can believe anything, be careful...

If you increase your dose by a few grams (perhaps 20g in total) you should get some more distinct and vibrant closed-eye-visuals, but also a lot more weird thoughts. Open-eye visuals are a bit more subtle - usually I see moving shadows, strange colour tints, "word-soup" (indistinct patterns and words) within the floor and walls, occasionally some "breathing" of fabrics, curtains.

Don't expect much in the way of complete visual hallucinations. The only time I get this is in the corners of my vision - strange things can appear that vanish when I look directly towards them. I've seen pyramids appear at the end of my bed, an airport check-in queue appear in ghostly form on the wall, a figure of a naked girl curled up on a shelf - but only in my peripheral vision. A turn of the head and they vanish. Most of the open-eye visuals are changes to the appearance of the surfaces of real objects, patterns, colours e.t.c

The specific closed-eye visuals (your snakes and eyes) can be from anywhere. The trip will throw things out either at random or based on recent experiences - similar to the way dreams work, but more abstract.

What does this all mean? It means you are tripping.:mushroom2:

Trip safely, don't go too crazy with the dosage, a few extra grams can have a large effect. Happy Queen's Day!
