Flush Casing, then...
    #1422968 -

Bah. I have had no luck in trying to find any resources over what to do with a casing after you pick all your shrooms. I found something over "deep scratching" it but thats about it. Right now I shoved the casing back into the incubator. Any ideas?

Give it a good misting and stick it right back into fruiting conditions and wait for the second flush.

Harvest all the mushrooms and then a couple of mist to rehydrate a little....back to the terrarium...

That's about it - just patch the holes and stick it back in the fruiting chamber. Sometimes dunking a casing can squeeze out an extra flush or two.

Have I ever told you guys how much I love you. I mean, seriously. I can come here with any question no matter how retarted and I get the absolute best quality answers, ever. I wouldn't even be here, done with my first flush, if not for the shroomery forums.
Sorry, I'm babbling, I'm high...

Do you need to sterilize the patch-casing material?

Think it'd be ok to just use vermiculite?
(original casing was 60/40 verm/coco)

Best if you use the original material, in the same condition it was at casing.
But it will work nevertheless.
