flushing casings

what's the process for rejuvinating casings after each flush? just mist and fan as normal, or is there anything that can be done to ensure a succesful second flush?

Hi hudsonismss,

The easiest ways to prepare for consecutive flushes:

1. Harvest first flush fruits before the caps open. Mature fruitbodies will leave a mess of spores on the casing, sealing up its open surface. Do your best not to totally disrupt the casing;

2. Replace patches of casing disturbed or removed during harvest with fresh, clean casing material;

3. Be patient.
