When The Beatles were recording "I Want You (She's So Heavy)", they were in the mixing room listening to the recording when John Lennon told them to cut the track right before the ending, making the song end unexpectedly and suddenly. Lennon said the point was to make the listener realize how deeply entranced they were by the song.

Anyone who's listened to this song knows what I'm talking about.
