perlite problems

i used perlite humidity, granted i don't have a humidity gauge its been about 32 hours and not any condensation has formed on the sides

have i not used enough water

is my terranium not air tight

does it take several days??

Did you read the Perlite Humidity FAQ?

If you did everything by the book, I wouldn't be worried... are you sure you have the right levels of perlite and water?

It's not going to take days to humidify. Keep in mind condensation forms when the rH reaches 100%, and then the temperature drops. Perhaps there is not a great enough temperature difference between your terrarium and the room it's in, or perhaps they both stay constant (no temp. fluxuations) Then again, you could be replacing the air to frequently... My suggestion is to go out and buy a hygrometer.
