Craigslist Scam
    #14130864 -

Ok so I'm not too familiar with craigslist but i put an ad for a subwoofer i am trying to sell last night and within an hour i had a response asking if the sub was still available.

so i replied yes, and i got this sketchy response:

"Hello i really appreciate your response to my earlier mail.i will like
to buy this item so pls do withdraw the advert from Craigslist. I will
also like you to know that i will be paying via check.I will need you
to provide me with the following information to facilitate the mailing
of the check.
1.Your full name to be on the check
2.Home or work address
3.Your phone number.
**I will like you to know that you will not be responsible for moving
i will have my mover come over for the pick up as soon as you have
cashed the check**
Have a nice day.

N.B UPS does not deliver to a p.o.box address"
just seems like a scam to me, what do you think?

It does seem like some BS. Send them an e-mail back and tell them to give you their phone number so you guys can figure out a place to meet. (Always bring a friend if possible)

Nobody buys sub-woofers off craigslist without trying them out.

He obviously knows it's a scam.

Shit, you'd think these scammers would get a little more creative than doing the same things time and time again. The scary part is they might not need to change up their game because it works enough times.

Same thing happened to me when I played Neil Armstrong in Moonshot. They found me in an alley in Burbank trying to re-enter the earth's atmosphere in an old refrigerator box.

Post up their reply e-mail and we can send them loads of crap e-mail.
That'll show them to waste people's valuable time.
